You don’t need a crystal ball to get a peek at the future. Just go see Eric Pzena’s SOCIETY 2.0. If you dare, that is. Greg’s (David Wade) job has been eliminated thanks to AI. He is not alone; most of the “improvements” are now handled by Bots. The billionaires are getting richer, and human emotion is becoming a thing of the past. Luckily Pzena injects humor into the frightening forecast, and we are able to identify the Bots thanks to masks. If only it were that easy in today’s environment. Definitely worth seeing, SOCIETY 2.0 is both clever and cautionary. Who wins? Hard to tell. Maybe AI can come up with a new definition for “winning.”
