Will Aronson’s and Hue Park’s MAYBE HAPPY ENDING is a delightful what-if musical. What if the robots that are ascending on us much quicker than we thought could emulate human feelings to the point where they actually fall in love? Darren Criss and Helen J. Shen show us just how that could happen as they develop a relationship fraught with the challenges of human coupling – anger, yearning, loneliness, companionship, caring, frustration, and sometimes too much logic. The music carries the story, the props are clever and unique, and the actors pluck your heart strings. Great way to spend an evening.
